This one’s so simple to whip up, I feel silly calling it a recipe. Sure, you could doctor it up by adding some fresh chopped chives or green onion on top, but the quick efforts using ingredients you probably have on hand are what makes this dip an easy to have on hand, high-protein option.

Greek yogurt is the power player here as it’s loaded with protein. One cup of Fage low fat Greek yogurt contains 22g of protein. You can choose your fat content of choice. I prefer non fat or low fat to keep the saturated fat to a minimum.
If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s nearby, I’m sorry. I feel you. When we moved from CA to Lakeway I was surprised to learn the closest Trader Joes was 35 minutes away and I’d have to plan in advance to pick up my favorite staples. Their seasonings are shelf stable and so yummy, I recommend grabbing 432 bottles while you’re there. You could also swap this out for whatever brand ranch seasoning your local market carries. Although, add the salt last after tasting as some brands are much higher in sodium than TJ’s.

- 1 Tablespoon distilled vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
