If you’ve been around here for a while, you already know my love for chia pudding runs deep. There’s just something magical about those tiny seeds soaking up liquid and transforming into a creamy, nutrient-packed treat. But as much as I adore spooning chia pudding out of a jar, sometimes life calls for something more portable.

Enter: Pumpkin Spice Chia Pudding Balls — the ultimate grab-and-go snack. These little bites combine all the cozy fall flavors of pumpkin spice with the wholesome nutrition of chia pudding, wrapped up into the perfect handheld form. They’re a quick pre-workout boost, an after-school snack the kids can grab from the fridge, or even a sweet bite to end your night on a lighter note.
Why You’ll Love Them
Protein-packed: FlavCity’s vanilla protein powder + Siggi’s yogurt keep these balanced and satisfying.
Seasonal flavor: Pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and maple syrup bring those fall vibes we all crave.
On-the-go friendly: No spoons, no jars, just grab a ball and you’re set.
Crunch factor: Sprinkled pumpkin seeds on top make them even more irresistible.
Ingredients
¼ cup raw almond butter (Trader Joe’s)
¼ cup chia seeds
1 scoop FlavCity Smoothie Protein Vanilla
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
2 tbsp maple syrup
¼ tsp salt
3 cups quick-cooking oats (Bob’s Red Mill) 1 cup Keto Vanilla Blueberry Nut Granola (Nutrail)
2 tbsp pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds (Trader Joe’s), for topping
4 containers Siggi’s vanilla cinnamon yogurt
Directions
1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, pumpkin puree, almond butter, salt, pumpkin pie spice, protein powder, maple syrup, and chia seeds until well combined.
2. Cover and refrigerate overnight, letting the chia seeds soak and thicken.
3. In the morning, stir in the oats and granola. Refrigerate again for about 15 minutes to let the mixture set.
4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a cookie scoop, form 1-inch balls. With slightly damp hands, roll until smooth.
5. Sprinkle each ball with a few pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds and gently press down so they set into the top.
6. Place back in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
Pro Tips
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Double the batch if you’ve got snack-hungry kids at home (they’ll disappear fast!).
